It's Walt de Mayo! Or "Walter Gras," if you prefer. Content will be a little slow today as I have a busy day planned and it's also my birthday, so I don't plan on working too hard. However, I promise you an awesome article around lunch time by Tuco on Auburn's chances for hosting an NCAA Regional! For now let's get to your morning links!

GOLF

The NCAA Tournament is beginning for the women this week as they take part in their regional. Meanwhile, the men earned the #3 seed in the Lubbock, TX Regional beginning next weekend.

SOFTBALL

Auburn's Softball Coach Clint Myers was named SEC Coach of the Year. Meanwhile Emily Carosone and Kasey Cooper were named to the 1st Team All-SEC while Jade Rhodes and Tiffany Howard were named to the 2nd Team. It's been an amazing year for Auburn Softball, and Coach Myers has the program going in a great direction.

FOOTBALL

To put somewhat of a cap on our NFL Draft coverage, we took a look at every Auburn player signed to a Free Agent deal and attempted to judge what their chances were of making an NFL roster.

Edward Aschoff has Auburn as the team who answered the most questions about themselves during the Spring. There are still questions remaining. Particularly who is going to fill the other Defensive End slot from Carl Lawson after the Elijah Daniel dismissal.

Plays per game used to be the end-all-be-all for measuring the pace of play for Malzahn & Company. That's no longer the case according to offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee. So many other factors go into what makes the team successful other than just playing fast.

The Montgomery Advertiser takes a look at Auburn's depth at Center. The Tigers have yet to name a starting Center for the 2015 season. I have a feeling it's going to be Austin Golson, but I would not be surprised at all if Xavier Dampeer wins the job, either. Both are very capable.

The Wide Receiver position is wide open at Auburn. With one very notable exception. Duke Williams is entrenched as the starter at his position. From all reports, he has been highly impressive with his work ethic in practice and his leadership. That could go a long way towards making 2015 a very special football season.

JUCO DB Joe Turner was not with the Auburn football team during the spring semester or spring practice, but that doesn't mean he is completely gone from the program. Gus Malzahn indicated that he could still work his way back on to the team.
