News and notes from the Auburn corner of the Internet

John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

I wrote a quick update on the status of the various construction projects going on around Auburn. It's mostly about Toomer's Corner, the new scoreboard, and the potential north end-zone project.

There's not too much from the Montgomery Advertiser or Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, right now. If you haven't seen it on Twitter, James Crepea is leaving the Advertiser for (still on the Auburn beat) and Ryan Black has left the Ledger-Enquirer for AuburnUndercover. Congrats to them both on the new gigs!

The VIP 25 is still on Auburn for #14. This time it's a certain defensive graduate transfer from Michigan.

Will the "Will Muschamp Effect" be a real thing? Are we expecting too much? examines it.

Monday's VIP 25 was on Avery Young. Yesterday they published a more in depth at the young man who is probably the best player on Auburn's offensive line right now.

Have you ever wanted to see what Bo Jackson did in every game of his career at Auburn, but just couldn't find the information online? Chadd Scott took care of that for you.

You like recruiting? Wesley Sinor examines nine recruits that the Tigers would love to flip from other schools.

Former Tiger Tre Mason gets a mention on ESPN after the Diddy incident the other day. They decided to profile other football players with famous musician fathers.

ESPN also talks about the "pressure" on the SEC West to win a championship. I'm not too sure I'd agree with that, but hey, it's the offseason. What else are we going to talk about?
