News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

Watch Lists! Get your watch lists! Butkus and Lombardi are out, and there are more Tigers on both lists.

Everyone keeps asking the question, so Tuco answered... Can Jeremy Johnson run the dang ball?

There will be a new SEC Storied airing on September 8th about the Miracle at Jordan-Hare and the Kick-Six.

Want to know how Tray Matthews is doing? Apparently he's earning quite the reviews from his teammates.

Speaking of those teammates, here's the official site's article about Jonathan Jones' interviews during SEC Media Days on Monday.

SI.com thinks Auburn's season depends on whether Johnson lives up to the hype at QB. I... I actually disagree. I may write more on it later, but I don't think Auburn's season hinges upon JJ being a Heisman-caliber quarterback.

We already knew about these from the SEC's spring meetings, but the head of officiating went over all of the new rules for Media Days again, anyway.

In recruiting news, the nation's #1 recruit (a DT, which Auburn needs a few of) plans on attending the Iron Bowl. That could be huge for Auburn's chances with swaying him the Tigers' direction.

The Montgomery Advertiser ponders if the SEC West is too good for it's own good. If that makes sense. Basically asking if an SEC West schedule is so strong that it actually hurts SEC West teams attempting to make the post season.
