By now you've probably seen this elsewhere, but in case you haven't, here is some information for you on the Tigers; schedule of practices leading into the first day of class.
When the pre-season camp start date was announced last week, it was clear that the Tigers were going to have to practice five days in a row in order to meet NCAA requirements for acclimation, as I pointed out then, and that is exactly what they're going to do. With all but one player reportedly at full speed (TJ Davis being the only limited player), everyone else will be able to jump straight into the five-day acclimation period and be ready to go full-bore in pads on the 8th.
Auburn will have its annual Fan Day next Sunday, August 9th. From there it will be another stretch of daily practices with two scheduled two-a-days in there. As noted in the post linked above, two-a-day workouts are strictly regulated these days, as well.
So, here are some of the key days on the schedule as I've seen it in numerous places:
3 August - Players "report."
4 August - Practice begin
4-7 August - Acclimation practices (no pads)
8 August - First day in pads
9 August - Fan Day
10 August - Two-a-day
11-13 August - Normal Practice
14 - August - Media day with assistants
15 - August - Two-a-day
16 - August - Normal Practice
17 - August - First day of classes for Fall Semester.
