Will Muschamp Talks Auburn Scrimmage and Week 1 of Practice

Will Muschamp met with the media following Tuesday's practice. All credit goes to the beat writers who were there.

From the sound of this, Will Muschamp wasn't terribly thrilled with the defense even though they managed to hold the offense scoreless. I'm trying to reconcile all of this and figure out what exactly happened, but it's tough. The defense allowed 4+ yards per carry, there was very little passing, and yet there were no offensive points?

Actually, it sounds similar to some of Auburn's other recent defenses: bend, bend, bend, stand strong in the redzone. That's the only thing I can come up with. Especially given the lack of reported fumbles by the running backs.

Other positive signs:

-Muschamp singling out some freshmen who will be able to contribute.

-Stephen Roberts doing well at Safety. He only recently moved to that position from cornerback.

-Dontavius Russell gets a shout-out!

-Oh, and some good injury news from a player tagged on at the end.
