Practice Notes:
Duke Williams wasn't on the field again. Soooo... yeaaaaahhhh. I don't know what to say about this. There are all sorts of rumors ad opinions, but no one seems to have a clue what the situation is. What we do seem to know is that there was an altercation between him and Trayvon Reed (and maybe others? I don't know), but we haven't heard anything from either head coach.
Phillip Marshall did say he has reason to believe Duke's not being at practice is a disciplinary issue, and I can only guess it's over that situation, but that's still strange since the supposed incident occurred before practice began and Duke was out there for the first few days. That would seem to indicate that Duke either didn't do what was asked of him afterwards, or he has done something else. It's a crazy situation, that's for sure. While I think Auburn will be ok even if Duke is unable to play, it's horrible to think someone so talented can't get it all together and just walk the straight and narrow.
I'm curious whether he'll be at Fan Day, tomorrow. I can't imagine that he will be after all of this, but you never know.
In even more not great news, Austin Golson was limited in practice and apparently injured. I don't know how bad it is, but he was in a brace and Xavier Dampeer was working with the first team offensive line.
Montravius Adams and Dontavius Russell were again working with the first team on the interior of the defensive line. DONTAVIUS RUSSELL HYPE GETTING HIGHER AND HIGHER. One thing of note I didn't see was mention of Carl Lawson working with either the first or second team, but remember this was the 20-30 minute open viewing period of practice and they didn't make any special mention of him not being there or being on the sidelines, either.
The beat writers noted that there were officials there, so it appears there will be a scrimmage at practice.
There were some big-time recruits on hand, today. Five-stars Marlon Davidson and Ben Davis, and Four-Star Antonneous Clayton were the biggies.
Press Conference Notes:
I'm doing this away from my computer, and unfortunately I can't embed tweets from a mobile device (which... why can't you do that!?!?), so this is going to be done a bit differently, tonight. I'll try to link in to the press conference notes from the beat writers if they link their reports. The best I can really do is take screen caps of tweets and go from there. There aren't a terrible lot, tonight.

And that's all I've got for right now. If I can update it when I get home (or if there is anything to update, I'll do it.
