The Plains are buzzing with anticipation as the Tigers prepare to take the field for the first time at Jordan-Hare Stadium during the 2015/16 football season.
By the time this is published the unveiling of the video board will already have occurred or be in the process of occurring. We'll be preparing for the Eagle Flight, the hype videos, and the team's entrance onto the field.
The home opener is always a special time at Auburn. Game days on the Plains are such a fun experience with all of the pageantry involved. For me, I'll make my way to the alumni tailgate and obtain my shaker for the season. I'll head to Tiger Walk to see the first walkthrough of the season. I'll be in my seats before the band parades around the field.
If you're not in town, please join in the Game Thread in the comments below. I'll be at the game, but I'll try to check in on my phone every once in a while. For all of the information on the Jacksonville State game we've written so far (including details on how to watch), check the story stream!
It's time for football in Jordan-Hare Stadium. War Eagle!
