Sorry for the lack of posts, today. My MacBook Pro is in the computer hospital and I've had to try to do what I can during breaks and before and after work.
Only one big Thursday night game, this week. Miami travels to Cincinnati to take on Tommy Tuberville's Bearcats. They'll be starting their redshirt freshman again, who lit up Memphis last week before throwing a heart breaking interception.
Friday night will have a few games, but none featuring ranked teams. Memphis plays again, but they should manhandle South Florida. That's really the only one I see worth watching, right now.
Saturday's noon games are your typical noon games with one big exception. That's #23 West Virginia taking on #15 Oklahoma. The winner of that game may very well win the Big 12. Northwestern may have one of the stronger defenses in college football. They play Minnesota on the Big Ten Network.
The big SEC game on Saturday is, of course, Alabama at Georgia. That game will take place at 3:30 on CBS. Auburn, meanwhile, is a 4pm EST kickoff on the SEC Network against San Jose State.
In the evening, #3 Ole Miss travels to the Swamp, where the Gators have worked their way into the Top 25 at #25. That game is at 7pm EST on ESPN. Meanwhile, Arkansas and Tennessee will fight to see who can fail to finish a game in the worst possible fashion on ESPN2. 7:30 on the SEC Network will have #21 Mississippi State taking on #14 Texas A&M in Aggieland.
The marque night game for the country will be #6 Notre Dame at #12 Clemson. Can we pull for a weather phenomenon? That game is at 8pm EST on ABC. The night closes in terms of interesting matchups with Arizona at #18 Stanford on the PAC12 Network.
