Sorry about the lack of posts, yesterday. I'm kind of out-of-pocket for a good bit of this week - and possibly some of next - so I haven't had the time to get things pre-written and set to publish during the day and I definitely haven't had time to write something during the day.
BASKETBALL
There's going to be a Bruce, Barkley, & Basketball fund raiser golf tournament the 23rd and 24th of October. Can we talk about that logo and how its the greatest thing ever, too?
SOCCER
I forgot about them, yesterday, but the soccer team won 3-2 against #12 Arkansas last Friday night to continue the SEC winning streak.
Casie Ramsier was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for last weeks' performance. Both she and her sister Brooke picked up goals against the Razorbacks.
FOOTBALL
I had it in yesterday's Link Sausage, but I'm putting it in today's, too. With last week being the off week, Jonny Dent looked back at the offense of one of the greatest Auburn teams and did a bit of a breakdown on it.
Tre Williams had a lot to say about the defenses' resurgence, leadership, Kevin Steele's philosophies, and more.
Tom Green at AL.com writes about Tony Stevens stepping up at wide receiver for the Tigers. He was my offensive surprise for the midway point of the season and has been a huge part of the Tigers' passing game.
What will the offensive line look like this Saturday against Arkansas? Well, we don't know. It could be either of the two lines we've already seen or it could be Dampeer at Center and James at tackle. The Tigers are still working to discover what exactly the best line is.
The Tigers' game against Ole Miss in Oxford will once again be a night game with a 6:15pm Central kick off. Auburn has played night games all but twice so far this season.
