College Football Week 6 TV Schedule: Channels, Times, Streaming, and More

We've got the games you'll be watching, what you should be watching instead, and more!

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

College football is back, tonight! It absolutely didn't happen last night. Nope. Nothing happened. At all.

Tonight's games are a whole lot of "meh," although Memphis' offense may be fun to watch just from a "this is another variant of Gus Malzahn's offense" perspective. See how the Tigers of Memphis are running it.

Friday night sees (3) Clemson face Boston College. BC's defense has been stout over the last few years, but let's all laugh at the thought of a L_effler _ffense facing that Clemson D. (19) Boise State at New Mexico is another good one to keep an eye on if you feel like staying up late.

Now, let's get to the main attractions of Saturday:

What You Will Be Watching

Auburn at Mississippi State. The Tigers play their first road game of the season in Starkville, and unless you're going to Cowbell Country, you're watching this one at home.

What You Should Be Watching

Auburn at Mississippi State. Duh. If you have to flip channels, though, LSU at Florida MAY still happen (it will not), and the Red River Shootout Whatever They're Calling It is at the same time, too.

What You Will Be Watching

(9) Tennessee at (8) Texas A&M. aTm and UT are playing! Oh, wait, different UT. Either way, they're both Top 10, and you can approach this two ways: we need the Aggies to win to make us look good, or we need them to lose to give them a conference loss.

What You Should Be Watching

(25) Virginia Tech at (17) North Carolina. I hate counterfactuals with a passion, but watch this game and see Jerrod Evans at QB for VT. He reportedly really wanted an Auburn offer out of JUCO this year. That would be the spot that went to JFIII. I hope Auburn comes out on the better end of that deal, eventually, but right now we see who is starting and who isn't.

(21) Colorado at USC. The Buffs are ranked! Watch them just for that!

What You'll Be Watching

(1) Alabama at (16) Arkansas. How did I miss that Arkansas is ranked? Well, they are, and Bama is on the road to play them!

What You Should Be Watching

(5) Washington at Oregon. The Huskies are on a roll and looking to make the likelihood of Oregon firing a coach for the first time in a few decades even more likely.

(23) Florida State at (10) Miami. FSU is still ranked, even though their resume doesn't even look as good as Auburn's, right now. Let's see if Mark Richt's Hurricanes can overcome the actual hurricane rolling through the area and make Jimbo complain even more about stuff he's wrong about.

Lots of options, here!

Arizona at (24) Utah.

Washington State at (15) Stanford? Oh boy, this could be fun.

UCLA at Arizona State.
