BASKETBALL
Are you excited about Auburn Basketball? Well, you should be! The Tigers are 2-0 with double-digit wins! Oh, and the future is bright, too. Auburn is tied for the most commits/signees on the Naismith Award List.
FOOTBALL
We apologize for not having a plan for the 2nd half of Peggy's Undercover Barner this week. We clearly weren't paying attention to the fact that she just wasn't up for it this week, and so she could really only give full effort for half a column.
Gus met with the media yesterday, as per usual for Tuesdays. He talked about injuries. Hey, can you play offense? Because Auburn might need you to play offense.
Carltravius AdamsLawson are in the Top 20 for the Lombardi Award. Lawson - after a quiet start to the season - is currently sitting at 9.5 sacks and is just three sacks away from breaking Nick Fairley's single-season Auburn record. The Tigers play Alabama A&M this weekend, so there's a decent chance he gets that this weekend. Adams, meanwhile, has blocked two kicks in addition to wrecking offensive linemen's dreams.
The College Football Playoff Rankings came out last night. Auburn was ranked 15th. It's kinda hard not to look at those rankings and see where Auburn could have been with a healthy team and/or a better backup plan.
