BASEBALL
Looking forward to Butch Thompson's second year on the Plains? Read up on one of the newcomers in Butch Thompson's recruiting class.
BASKETBALL
Son of Crow's second column of "This Week in Auburn Basketball" is here! We now have two games by which to judge the Tigers. They play again tonight against Western Kentucky. We'll have more on that game a little later.
The youngsters on the team (which is most of them it seems) are hoping to keep the momentum going from the hot start the Tigers have gotten off to so far.
FOOTBALL
Kamryn Pettway will finish the season having played in just over half of Auburn's games, more than likely. He's still a semi-finalist for the Doak Walker Award. That's how good he's been.
The defense had mostly survived the injury bug that has plagued Auburn's offense late in the season. That's no longer the case as Byron Cowart is now out for the rest of the season after an appendectomy.
In terms of bowl projections, plenty of people are thinking Auburn will be heading to the Outback Bowl, now. If that's the case, I really hope it's a matchup with Minnesota. I want to see a team we've never played before.
Who does Carl Lawson remind Kevin Steele of? Former Tiger Kevin Greene. He should know since he's now coached both of them. See what else Steele had to say about the Georgia game and this weekend's game against Alabama A&M.
