For a Gus Malzahn presser, this one sure did have a ton of good tidbits.
Of note, three early enrollees are on campus and practicing. They won't be able to travel with the team officially, but hey, they're there now!
No discussions on draft eligible players skipping the bowls. I've toyed with the idea of an article on that subject, but not sure it's worth the time and effort. Maybe I'll write it and set it to publish for Thursday since tomorrow is stacked with basketball stuff.
It was obvious the staff wasn't in a huge hurry to hire a new DB coach since Crime Dog is going to coach the bowl game. There is plenty of time to get the right person. Corey Raymond is off the list, though, with his extension at LSU.
It's good to hear Sean White is doing well. Maybe. We think. Gus says, anyway.
The tackles for next season could conceivably both be Princes, and that's kinda hilarious. I look forward to seeing Price Tega Wanogho on the field. We'll have 5* OT Calvin Ashley coming in who could have a lot to say about that position, though. Either way, the offensive line is starting to look like it could be a huge strength next season, and that's great news when you consider the skill position players are all returning.
On the last bit... anyone else guilty of that? I know I'm not finished with the shopping, but I'm close at least.
For more information on some things that weren't tweeted, here's a good wrap up to go with, too.
