If you look up Robert Hicks' profile on 247Sports, the first thing that may jump out at you is that he is unrated. He doesn't have an extensive offer list, either. Miami and Oregon State were his only P5 offer until Auburn and Kentucky jumped in February 18th. Oregon State's offer only came a month ago, too.
Hicks was a standout at a recent Rivals Camp, apparently, and has attracted a lot of interest. He's a part of the 2018 class, so he's still got a good two seasons of high school football for rating services to take a look at him. I'm honestly not even sure how much playing time he received as a freshman or sophomore at Booker T. Washington High School in Miami.
He's got good size at 6'2, 220 lbs according to that 247Sports profile. His highlight footage is fun to watch, as well.
The Class
As mentioned above, he's only the second commitment of the 2018 class. He joins 4* Dual-Threat QB Joey Gatewood. Auburn currently ranks 7th in the nation, 3rd in the SEC for 2018.
