Auburn Baseball vs Georgia Tech

The baseball team is on the road for their first real road game of the year today, as they're in Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech previously beat Auburn 4-1 last Tuesday night at Plainsman Park.

At the time, the Yellow Jackets were undefeated and ranked 9th in the country. After a weekend series to open their conference play up against Florida State, the Jackets are ranked 22nd. That's because they were swept by the Seminoles. Not just kinda swept, either. It was bad. 8-2, 14-9, 8-3 were the finals.

Auburn is fresh off a series against Oral Roberts that saw the Tigers light up the scoreboard for 35 runs on the weekend. The Friday loss was hard to swallow, but the Saturday and Sunday wins were quite nice. Here's to hoping that the bats continue the trend from the weekend and Auburn is able to get some revenge on the North Avenue Trade Schoolers.
