This post will also serve as an open thread if anyone wants to follow along with the game and talk about it in the comments below!
For the first time since 2009, the Auburn Tigers Women's Basketball team is back in the Big Dance. They're facing the St. John's Red Storm from the Big East Conference.
The Red Storm finished 23-9 on the season, with an 11-7 record in the Big East, which was good for 4th in the conference. They were 5-3 against teams who finished in the Top 50 of the RPI.
Auburn, meanwhile, finished 19-12, with an 8-8 conference record. The Tigers fell in the NCAA Tournament to eventual winner and NCAA #1 seed South Carolina. Against teams that finished in the Top 50 of the RPI, the Tigers were 2-7.
Honestly, for all of the best possible information on this game, I'd recommend you go to the official site's "Tournament Central" page. The university has done an amazing job of setting that site up with every bit of information you could need. I just hope it's needed for more days past today!

Oh, and how about some love from a former Baylor QB for one Auburn player in particular? If Auburn wins tonight, they'll likely face Petty's Baylor Bears in Round 2.
Good luck to @katiefrerking and @AuburnWBB today!
