The ladies know their post-season path back to the Super Six.

Auburn Gymnastics received their NCAA Regional spot, this afternoon. The ladies will be headed to Ann Arbor, Michigan. They'll be the top seed at that regional, which is a program first.

The 6th ranked Tigers will be joined by the host team, 7th ranked Michigan, along with 18th ranked Stanford, Eastern Michigan, Penn State, and New Hampshire. The Regional will take place a week from this Saturday, April 2nd. If I recall correctly from last year, the top two teams from each Regional will advance to the NCAA Championships. They will be held the 15th, 16th, and 17th of April in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Tigers are fresh off their best performance ever in the SEC Championship meet, and finished the season with a streak of five straight scores of 197 or more.

See the team's reaction to the news, below:

We know one person that's unhappy with the location for Auburn's Regional, though. That would be our own (and former AU All-American Gymnast) Megan Walker. You know she's absolutely thrilled for the team, though. Hopefully, we'll have something from her in the next few days on the regional.
