BASKETBALL
Continuing the postmortem, Tuco examines just how close the Tigers were in 2015-16 if all pieces had remained healthy and on the team while looking ahead to next year, as well.
GYMNASTICS
Auburn gymnast Lexus Demers has been working with head coach Jeff Graba for quite sometime. Since she was about 6, actually. Read her story on the official site.
SOFTBALL
It wasn't exactly pretty - Auburn's normally stellar defense had a few errors early on, but the Tigers left Atlanta with an 8-4 victory over Georgia State. They return home this weekend to face South Carolina.
FOOTBALL
A few weeks back, Bill Connelly of FootballStudyHall.com wrote an article that discussed why the BCS got it right in 2004. That obviously doesn't sit well with Auburn folks. That got us to thinking about the concept of the Tubershell. When you look at which teams dominated games by "knockouts," the results are quite interesting and more palatable to Auburn folks.
Every spring game in the SEC will be televised live on one of the ESPN networks. That's one reason why Auburn's A-Day game is slated for a 3pm kickoff, as it will be following South Carolina's on the SEC Network.
Could Auburn be starting two underclassmen in the defensive backfield this Fall? It sure sounds that way. I've been saying it for a while, but AL.com has an article on Jamel Dean's rise up the depth chart. I'd like to go ahead and thank Urban Meyer for trying to get this kid to quit football on a medical scholarship, which made him decide to come to the Plains. He and Carlton Davis both could be at OSU right now. Thanks Urbz!
