BASEBALL
There was yet another sweep in Fayetteville, Arkansas this weekend. Unfortunately, after being swept by South Carolina last weekend, the Razorbacks swept Auburn this weekend.
EQUESTRIAN
The Tigers took another big step on the way to making 2016 an amazing season for the Equestrian team. Losers of only one meet all season, the Tigers won the SEC Championship this weekend over UGA.
SOFTBALL
It was a sweep for Softball this weekend, too, but the good kind rather than the bad kind. The Tigers swept the visiting South Carolina Gamecocks in a Friday and Saturday double-header series.
FOOTBALL
If you haven't already heard, James Owen, the first African-American football player for Auburn, passed away this weekend. Read Phillip Marshall's story on him. His nephew, LaDarius, just graduated from Auburn and was also on the football team.
The Tigers were at Jordan-Hare for a scrimmage Saturday morning, and the quarterbacks were live. See what Gus Malzahn had to say afterwards. If you've read some of the paywall stuff, you'll see there's some definitely reason for optimism about the offense.
