BASEBALL

Unfortunately, it's behind a paywall, but D1Baseball.com has a feature on Anfernee Grier who continues to increase his draft stock and his future bank account with every passing game. Grier has been a beast for Auburn in the field and at the plate.

TENNIS

For the first time in school history, Auburn will host a NCAA Regional. The #10 Tigers will play Alcorn State in Round 1 next Friday (the 13th). See what coach Lauren Spencer had to say about the team's best run in school history.

FOOTBALL

Want further details on the arrest of the four Auburn football players? The Montgomery Advertiser has police report details.

Tre Williams is pretty much a lock to start at linebacker for Auburn this Fall. Right? Well, here's the thing... he's been playing middle linebacker, and that's where T.J. Neal plays. If I had to guess, I'd bet it's Tre who moves over. He seems like someone we can't keep off the field, so he'll be out there somewhere.

Tim Horton has to love that he has weapons like Jovon Robinson and Kerryon Johnson to play with. On top of that, he has juggernauts Chandler Cox (6'1, 232) and Kamryn Pettway (6'0, 242).

From the LSU site, Billy Gomila has an excellent editorial on why the problem with teaching players that the NFL keeps complaining about isn't a college problem, it's an NFL problem.

Duke Williams has reportedly been offered a mini-camp tryout with the Los Angeles Rams. I think that's a good place for him. They need receivers, and he'll have a chance to make his mark and earn a spot.

Gus Malzahn and Bo Jackson finished 5th in this year's Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge charity golf tournament. I love how that article points out that they beat Nick Saban and his partner, Chris Mohr.
