News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

Wade Rackley

Just a reminder that Anfernee Grier was 2nd team All-SEC. He's on some more All-American lists, now. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association chose him, yesterday.

Phillip Marshall has a pretty good discussion with Butch Thompson on what went right and what went wrong in 2016 and how he expects next season to be better.

The Tigers added a 2016-17 out-of-conference game, yesterday. Basically, they made it official that the game against Oklahoma is going to happen in Connecticut in December. Auburn will be spending a good bit of time on the road this Christmas.

Check out Kasey Cooper in her "new" uniform. She'll be wearing the red, white, and blue this summer.

Could Auburn be adding another signee to the 2016 class in the near future? Stephen Davis, Jr is still unsigned. He's been waiting on his academic issues. Whether he signs with Auburn or not remains to be seen.

SECcountry says there are five newcomers that Auburn will count on heavily in 2016. Sight unseen, I'll say there are some receivers on it.

Speaking of a newcomer that will mean a lot to Auburn, one shows up in SECcountry's "Most Important Tiger" segment, too. That would be a freshman defensive end who made a name for himself this spring.

Who are the richest and poorest schools in the SEC? Auburn is high up the richest list.
