News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

OFF-SEASON

Tuco is back with his second edition of various things to watch, eat, or otherwise imbibe to help you get through these off-season months with no sports.

BASEBALL

Stop me if you've heard this one... Anfernee Grier was named to an All-American Team. Again. This time it was D1Baseball.com who tabbed him for the honor.

SOFTBALL

The NCAA put out highlights for the top plays of the 2016 Women's College World Series. Auburn is well represented in it. Very well represented. They're most of them, actually.

FOOTBALL

Carlton Davis has learned a lot since his arrest for marijuana possession. He's ready to build upon his freshman campaign, go forward from his offseason mistake, and take his game to the next level. If he continues to improve, he's going to be one of the greats.

Kyle Davis is 100%, and that's pretty spectacular news, since we're most likely going to need 2-3 of the true freshmen receivers to contribute in a big way this Fall.

Carl Lawson has really stepped up as the leader of the defense this off-season. This will without doubt be his last season at Auburn, so he's taking charge and trying to make sure the defense is something special.
