News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

LOCAL

Spicer's Music in Auburn is attempting to break a world record, today. I'll be there helping out! See the details on the celebration, here.

BASEBALL

The Tigers will have a new strength and conditioning coach as Brett Price was named to the position by head coach Butch Thompson, yesterday.

BASKETBALL

The NBA Draft is tonight, and two Tigers are hoping to hear their name called. If they are called, it will be in the 2nd round. They've been working out with a few NBA teams over the last few weeks.

SWIMMING AND DIVING

One of Auburn's divers is trying to make the US National Team. He begins the Olympic Trials, today, in Indianapolis.

FOOTBALL

If you've been watching the FanPosts, then perhaps you've seen OhIndeedMaybe?'s series on the 2015 offense. He goes into a lot of detail about where and why things went wrong and what hope there may be for improvement. We collected all of those posts and put them in one convenient place for you on the front page!

Marcus Davis and Tony Stevens are showing a "sense of urgency" in the offseason according to AL.com. They're both seniors who had a lot of early potential but haven't fully lived up to that potential just yet, so, I can see where the urgency comes from. This is their last chance to make a mark and do something, and they've got some talented competition this season in the freshmen.

In AL.com's VIP 20, we're on to one of the newcomers at wide receiver in Nate Craig-Myers. I really can't wait to see what he can do this fall.
