A former Tiger pitcher will be making his MLB debut in the next few days as Grant Dayton will be in uniform for the Dodgers this weekend. Whether he'll actually see any action I don't know, but he's been called up.

I'm not one for bobbleheads, but if someone wants to get me this one of Bo Jackson breaking a bat over his knee, I will proudly put it on my desk.

In true 2016 Auburn Softball fashion, it took a furious late rally, but Kasey Cooper took home the fan vote of the NCAA Elite 90. The award is given to the athlete with the top GPA in each of the NCAA's 90 championships.

The early scouting report is on LSU, now. That will be a very interesting game as Auburn will welcome one of the Heisman front-runners who embarrassed the Tigers last year to Jordan-Hare. I say "one of" the front-runners because Christian McCaffrey is back for another year, and, honestly, I think he should have won it last year and be challenging for Archie Griffith's two Heisman record.

Auburn is now down to just one player whose academic fate they're awaiting, defensive-end Nick Coe, as Marlon Character - a defensive back that Will Muschamp & Company were very high on - was fully cleared and will join the team very soon. Coe is still waiting on the final word, but it seems he's optimistic last I saw.

For all the hype some of Auburn's early enrollees have gotten, don't forget about the 5* Defensive Tackle who arrived over the summer. spoke to "gentle giant" Derrick Brown. Brown will make a case for himself to have an immediate impact on the interior line and add another potential star to a loaded position group.
