SOCCER

Cal State Fullerton made the cross-country trip to the Plains to take on the Auburn Soccer Tigers tonight at the Auburn Soccer complex. The match starts at 7pm.

VOLLEYBALL

The volleyball team starts their season tonight, hosting the War Eagle Invitational at Auburn Arena. They'll be in action Friday and Saturday, so you can catch them and the soccer team both!

FOOTBALL

You may have heard, but Auburn named a starting QB last night. Finally. It's exactly who I suspected and have been saying it would be all along: Sean White. I'll have some more thoughts on that a bit later this morning. You can see the official site's story on it, too. Oh, and Kevin Phillips was named the starting punter.

I had some late night thoughts on Sean White being named the starter and what that means for what we can expect to see from Auburn's offense in 2016.

The position previews continue! Yesterday, I tackled the linebackers and defensive backs. If you missed the first couple of position previews or want to be able to keep track of them all as they come out, I set up a story stream where they'll all be placed.

The NCAA came calling in Auburn recently, according to Yahoo! They were wanting to talk to players about their recruitment by Ole Miss, though, so it's not exactly bad news for Auburn.

Three Tigers land on the pre-season SEC Coaches' All-SEC team. I'm guessing you're not going to have any issues picking out two of them.

In very sad news, Jeremy Johnson's grandfather was killed in a car accident the other day. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
