News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

It's GAAAAAAAAAAME WEEEEEEK!!!!! Let's get this party started.

SOCCER

Last night's match up in Samford was a high-scoring affair as the Tigers won 4-3 in a rain-delayed match that lasted well into the night. The Tigers also took care of business Friday night, knocking off Cal State Fullerton in a 2-0 victory.

FOOTBALL

The position previews continued on through the weekend. You can catch them all in this story stream. If you want to just skip to the ones published since the last link dump, here's special teamsoffensive linequarterbackstight end/H-backsrunning backs, and wide receivers.

Rhett Lashlee met with the media last night before Auburn's Sunday night practice inside Jordan-Hare Stadium under the lights. He actually had a fair bit to say for once. Sure, a lot of it is still coach speak, but it's more than the usual stuff.

Commenter/read OhIndeedMaybe? has started a series examining Sean White's 2015 performances game-by-game. He's already done Mississippi State and San Jose State. I highly recommend checking them out for a closer look at almost every offensive snap White took.

Kerryon Johnson says Kam Martin reminds him of himself. Johnson came in last year and was expected to contribute early as a true freshman with players ahead of him getting hurt. Martin will likely be on the field quite a bit early on, too. Kerryon, meanwhile, is ready to get going fast and strong in his sophomore year.

Just what are the plans for the offensive line if someone gets hurt? There is not a lot of experience behind the starters. AL.com breaks down the contingency plans.

Quentin Riggins has no worried about his replacement, Ronnie Brown, on the sidelines for the Auburn Network. Q thinks Brown will be "absolutely outstanding."
