After round one, the men's golf team is in 2nd at the Inverness Invitational. Senior Matt Gilchrest is in the individual lead.

Dr. Z's weekly eye exam of the team is back to questioning things after the previous game's offensive explosion and wondering if Gus has caught the coaching equivalent of the yips in golf.

The game time has been set for the October 1st Homecoming game against Louisiana-Monroe. The game will kickoff at 2:30pm Central time.
