College Football 2016 Week 5 TV Schedule Times, TV, Streaming, And More

New, 1 comment

It's Week 5! There are three (THREE!!!) Top 10 matchups this weekend. The Top 25 will surely see some movement after this one.

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Week 5 of the College Football Season sees some excellent matchups, and they start Friday night! There are two games on tonight, and sure one of them is (6) Houston aiming for revenge against UConn for last year's loss, but they aren't very compelling.

The real fun begins Friday night with the first Top 10 matchup of the weekend. (7) Stanford will take on (10) Washington. That should be a fun game to watch and should give the majority of the country their first real chance to check out the 2016 Huskies. If you can stay up that late, that is.

Now let's get to Saturday.

EARLY GAMES

Plenty of Top 25 teams are in action early on in the day, but none of them are in games that really grab the eye.

What You'll Be Watching

(22) Texas at Oklahoma State or (23) Florida at Vanderbilt.

What You Should Be Watching

(14) Miami at Georgia Tech. Mark Richt has the Hurricanes playing well, and he's rarely lost to Georgia Tech in his history as a head coach. If Miami wins this one and Georgia loses to Tech later in the year, you'll hear some rumblings among the Bulldog fans.

MID-AFTERNOON

What You'll Be Watching

Louisiana-Monroe at Auburn. If you can find it on the SEC Alternate channel and aren't already there for Homecoming, anyway.

What You Should Be Watching

(11) Tennessee at (25) Georgia. This game could decide who wins the SEC East. I'm guessing Tennessee is able to pull this one out.

OR

(8) Wisconsin vs (4) Michigan. A Top 10 game! Wisconsin has been a weird team, so far. They beat LSU, struggled to hold off Georgia State, and walloped Michigan State. Can they go 2 for the Lower Peninsula?

EARLY EVENING

What You'll Be Watching

(3) Louisville vs (5) Clemson. Whew boy, this one should be fun.

What You Should Be Watching

Memphis vs (16) Ole Miss. Can Memphis make it 2 in a row against the Rebels? Probably not.

#PAC12AfterDark

Arizona State at USC, Oregon at Washington State, or Arizona at UCLA are the PAC12 specials this week.
