Task Organization: The Auburn Tigers will be organized using this week's depth chart (which actually hasn't been updated since before the Clemson game).

1) SITUATION

a) Enemy -

Intelligence reports indicate that the Auburn Tigers' opponent for Week 1 is a Group of 5 conference team that struggled mightily in its opening game at home. They are also currently suffering from an unknown malady that has weakened their condition. The enemy will attempt to shut down Auburn's offensive attack through disruption of the ground game at the line of scrimmage and pressuring starting quarterback Sean White into errant mistakes in the passing game. Their offensive attack will attempt to fix errors such as bad snaps from their previous outing and attack the Tigers through a balanced rushing and passing attack led by graduate transfer quarterback Chad Voytik.

c) Civil Considerations:

The local populace will be very supportive of the Auburn Tigers. With it being at night, the population will be loud, well-marinated, and ready to give the Tigers some extra support.

2) MISSION

The Auburn Tigers Football Team takes on the Arkansas State Red Wolves at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, AL at 1830 hours local time, in order to advance the program's goal of reaching the 2016 College Football Playoff.

3) EXECUTION

a) Concept of the Operation.

The football team will play four quarters of fast, physical football against all opponents with each portion of the team performing special duties  assigned to them.

Scheme of Maneuver.

The operation will consist of multiple phases. Phase 1- the planning and preparation phase - begins at the end of the Clemson game and ends with the team departing for the Remain Over Night (RON) site in Montgomery. Phase 2 - the travel phase - begins upon arrival at the RON site and ends with Tiger Walk. Phase 3 - the execution phase - begins upon arrival at the stadium and consists of pre-game warm-ups and game activity. It will end upon completion of the contest. Phase 4 - the recovery phase - begins with post-game locker-room activities and ends upon the team's arrival back at the athletic facility in Auburn.

Offense, the main effort, will conduct fast-paced, minimal communication attacks against the enemy utilizing multiple air and land-based weapons systems. Sean White, and please, Gus, ONLY Sean White except in a very occasional circumstance, will lead the offense through a balanced attack of rushing and passing using the running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Tight ends. Tight ends. Tight ends. I'm just going to keep saying it and hoping we might actually throw to one over the middle again, someday. Arkansas State's defense struggled against Toledo last week and can be exploited through the ground and air. The offensive line will need to give Sean White more time on passing plays this week than they did in the previous outing. Fast, decisive play with minimal substitutions should be the goal. Through speed of maneuver, simplicity in planning, and security of ball-control, the offense will attack the defense and cross the opponent's goal line as quickly and as often as possible.

Defense, a supporting effort, will employ fast/physical assaults on the opponent's offense. Arkansas State's offensive line struggled with effective snaps last week, which can be exploited with Auburn's defensive line this week. The defensive front for Auburn will need to establish dominance on the line early as they did against Clemson and force Arkansas State to play on the run. Through surprise, mass, and economy of force, the defense will prevent the opposing offense from crossing the Auburn goal line through expending of their downs or through creating turnovers.

Special Teams, a supporting effort, will conduct all kicking and return duties. #Legatron will hopefully not be needed for short field goals as often this season. Through maneuver, simplicity, mass, and economy of force, special teams will attempt to score points when supporting the offensive efforts and prevent opponents from scoring points while supporting defensive efforts.

Fans, a supporting effort, will conduct themselves in a manner befitting proper sportsmanship standards while still loudly cheering on the Auburn Tigers football team and disrupting the opponents' game plan, rhythms, snap counts, etc.
