Fresh off a career-high in points and coming up one rebound shy of a double-double, Austin Wiley won SEC Freshman of the Week honors. Hopefully, that level of play continues tonight at the Tigers take on the Gamecocks in a very tough SEC road game.

Auburn's new OC has already shaken up the recruiting landscape for the Tigers. Auburn decided not to go with offering Chase Lasater at the H-back/FB spot and instead have turned to a new target from south Georgia at the position as more of an H-back/TE.
Oh boy, an Auburn player is already getting pre-season Heisman hype. Kind of. More like he's enough of a factor that Vegas has placed odds on him. It's not that surprising, either, since if he'd stayed healthy last year and continued the pace he was on there is no doubt he would have been on the radar for the Heisman at the end of the season.
