BASEBALL

The Tigers dropped their first SEC game of the season, but they still ended up taking the series from the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens. That's the key thing. Auburn hasn't dropped a series yet this year.

Here is the official site's notebook on the week as a whole.

BASKETBALL BRACKET

We're down to the Final Four, now, and how did y'all let me creep back into the bracket competition? Seriously, I have only one of the Final Four teams right and I'm still near the top. Of course, that one Final Four team of mine is Gonzaga, who I have winning it all. So, I guess there's still hope for me!

SOFTBALL

Things haven't been going so well for the Softball team this weekend. They dropped Game 1 to the Gators thanks to some defensive errors in the 7th and some help by the umpires on a controversial call early in the game. That was a very close game that featured Auburn leading for a good portion. Last night's game, on the other hand, was much more of a Florida blowout. The Tigers will try to avoid the sweep tonight.

FOOTBALL

The Tigers hit the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium for the first scrimmage of the spring over the weekend. Gus Malzahn met with the media immediately following to talk about it.

Carlton Davis and Javaris Davis want to become the best cornerback duo in the SEC. They've definitely got the skills to do it, but they're going to have to improve a bit over their performances from last season. They're definitely getting a bit more of a challenge in practices these days, and in the scrimmage, with the higher ratio of passes.

Malik Willis isn't going to be Auburn's starting quarterback this fall. However, from reports out of the scrimmages, there's a good chance he will be the next man up after Sean White and Jarrett Stidham. Willis has impressed the coaches in practice and in the scrimmage.
