Jay Jacobs was named Athletic Director of the HEY, QUIT LAUGHING, IT REALLY HAPPENED. Yep, he really was named Athletic Director of the Year. And, when you start thinking about it, it's not as crazy as it may first appear.

Drew sums up all of our feelings in This Week in Auburn Hoops: Welp. It's going to take a lot for the Tigers to make the post-season. Even if Bruce Pearl's team wins Saturday and wins two games in Nashville, they may have to hope that the mid-major favorites all win their conference tournaments.

The bats have been off and on so far this season. Last night, the bats were on. Very on. Carlee Wallace's in particular. The Tigers roared to 15 runs IN THE FIRST TWO INNINGS and then cruised to the 4.5 inning run-rule victory.

Kevin Steele met with the media for the first time this Spring last night. He's definitely much more open than some of Auburn's previous (and current) coaches in press conferences. He had a whole lot of info and you should read all about it!

With Sean White limited / out, Woody Barrett is running with the 2nd team at quarterback. If he has turned a corner from his time on the scout team last fall and is ready to step up his game, he could legitimately win the 2nd team role in the Fall, too.
