News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

So, to get caught up (since I didn't post the article yesterday), things didn't go so well for Auburn Tuesday night against Georgia Tech.

Well, Sonny, it's looking more and more likely that we're not giving you a dime, brother.

Want a pick-me-up? Take a look at what Baseball America thinks about the post-season for the Tigers. It's just shy of a national seed at the moment.

Three Tigers were named NCEA Riders of the Month in their various disciplines.

Jeremiah Dinson's story is quite an amazing one. In his true freshman campaign, he suffered injuries that could have ended his playing career thanks to a blindside block from Texas A&M's Ricky Seals-Jones. It took him a while to recover and to forgive Seals-Jones (who has never called or reached out to apologize) for it. Brandon Marcello has a good story on the whole situation.

Rodney Garner wants at least a 10-man rotation on the defensive line every season. They're working hard to get to that point this spring.

Renderings of the new football facility at Jordan-Hare Stadium have been released. I seem to be the only one who really doesn't seem to mind the inner stadium portion. I don't really like the new press box parts and the way it breaks up that part of the stadium's lines (I'd rather see a new press box put on the north side with some more planning), but the part at field-level I didn't mind at all. We'll see if this gets approved.

Look, it's early in the offseason and no games have even been played yet, but ESPN's Football Power Index is pretty high on the 2017 Tigers.
