I honestly didn't know the girl on the "It Just Means More" SEC commercials was an Auburn grad. Check out her story, here.
The Tigers got things back on track against Ole Miss this weekend with a series victory over the Rebels. Without Casey Mize, Keegan Thompson and Davis Daniel got things done Thursday and Friday for the Tigers to clinch the series.
The SEC Tournament begins Tuesday. It will start for Auburn with another game against Ole Miss. Though Mize didn't pitch this weekend, he could be available Tuesday. Check out the official site's Baseball Notebook. We should have a preview of the SEC Tournament up before long.
The Tigers had quite the weekend in the NCAA Regional. It was another sweep for Auburn as they'll host their third Super Regional in a row next weekend. Who they'll play has yet to be determined. Tulsa and Oklahoma will play in a final winner advances game today to finalize the opponent. Tulsa was 3 outs away from advancing last night, but let OU hit a single and home run TWICE in the 10th to win it and extend the series.
One key to winning the Regional was Kasey Cooper's bat coming alive. Read about what sparked that and led to a huge resurgence in the final game against Cal.
In "thank you, Captain Obvious" news, Chip Lindsey is excited about Kyle Davis' return to the team. Davis and Craig-Myers together provide Auburn with two extremely dynamic receivers and that's before we even start counting Slayton, Stove, McClain, and others.
