BASEBALL

Auburn opened SEC Tournament play late last night against Ole Miss. The game was supposed to begin at 4:30 pm Central, but the weather in Hoover delayed Game 1 play. Keegan Thompson got the start but was pulled early in favor of Casey Mize

SOFTBALL

Can Auburn erase the memories of last year's Championship Series? They'll have the chance to when they take on Oklahoma again in the NCAA Super Regional this weekend on the Plains.

FOOTBALL

Auburn has to replace a lot of production on the defensive line in Carl Lawson and Mon Adams. Marlon Davidson gets a lot of the discussion for replacing Lawson, but don't forget that it was Jeff Holland who really played the Buck spot.

Jatarvious Whitlow was a last-second surprise signee for Auburn last cycle. He's someone Chip Lindsey was extremely high on, though, and Lindsey is the reason Whitlow became a Tiger.

The Auburn Tiger with the best nickname - aside from Will "White Lightning" Hastings - has to be "Dirty" Mike Sherwood. The former walk-on is a Swiss Army Knife of a defensive player who could provide depth all over the field for Auburn if needed.
