Auburn’s finished up two fall practices so far, and Kevin Steele hit the podium last night after the work was done. Here’s what you may have missed from the Auburn corners of the internet!
Kevin Steele talked about how the Tigers have special daily awards (within NCAA rules) for the Turnover of the Day. Apparently that’s a theme that Auburn wants to work toward a good bit more this fall:

On the other side of the ball, you’ve probably seen the few video clips that have come out so far of Jarrett Stidham looking like he fits right in with the rest of the guys. That’s not surprise, as he’s becoming a true leader already with the offense.

And for more on the QB competition in itself, Stidham’s roommate Chandler Cox had a short weigh-in

And for Stidham (or White), whoever wins the starting QB job will have a ton of help. Obviously the backfield mates of Pettway, Johnson, Cox, etc. are well-documented, but that whole side of the ball is pretty stacked.

But away from the football field, Bruce Pearl’s taking his guys to Italy in a few days for some spirited international play, but he’s always got his attention over here on what people are saying about his Tigers.
Over 70 players listed as top hoopers, just 8 from the @SEC and none from Auburn! Stay tuned! Im just sayin! @AuburnTigers @ESPNCBB https://t.co/hMk33eGDWk

Let’s prove ‘em wrong, Coach.
We’ll have reaction from practice later this evening along with our first visit from Chip Lindsey! It’ll be interesting to see what he thinks about the cabal of offensive weapons he’s got to work with, and how things have shaped up so far through three days of practice.
Until then, War Eagle.
