We’re in the final couple of weeks before kickoff, and now that we’re on the back side of Fan Day, the opener against Georgia Southern should zoom right along and be here ‘fore you know it.

Speaking of Hastings, he was a key part of Auburn’s early-season offense in 2016, and we all heard a ton about how well he did in fall practices last year. Well, this time around he’s hoping for a little more consistency.

And while we’ve had a few starting roles shored up, there’s still the battle raging on the offensive line. Last week’s visits with the coaches confirmed that we’ve got 7-8 guys battling it out for the five starting spots, including Auburn’s two grad transfers from other schools.

Finally, on the other football field, Auburn soccer started the season with a victory on Friday night over South Alabama, but things weren’t so easy yesterday. Check out the highlights from the Tigers’ come-from-behind draw against Lipscomb.
