There’s been a ton of talk about individual players over the past 24 hours, with a lot of the focus turning onto new faces on the Plains. We’ll get to that in a minute, but first we’ve got a couple of preseason honors to mention...
The preseason AP All-American team came out, and two Auburn guys were featured. Any guesses who?
.@DanielCarlson38 (First) and Braden Smith (Second) have been named to #APAllAmerica Teams.

Shocker! It’s Daniel Carlson! Maybe he finally gets his Groza this year along with first team All-American honors.
With Braden Smith a sure-fire starter on the offensive line, there are still questions up front for the Tigers, including the playing status of grad transfer Casey Dunn. Still, Dunn is an interesting story who will either start or provide fantastic depth for Auburn.

Here’s a feature on the linebacking corps, who we’re already sure will be a strength defensively for Auburn...

But most of the talk is on the previously unheralded Auburn receiver group. Auburn’s got a bunch of new faces and guys who’ve been around but haven’t gotten the opportunities due to the offensive scheme. That said, look who’s making a huge push for early playing time...

As for former Tigers, the Carolina Panthers obviously have Cam Newton, but what about the other Cam? He’s doing a great job sticking with it in Charlotte.
Who leads Panthers in rushing in preseason? It ain't McCaffrey. Step right up, Cameron Artis-Payne. @AuburnFootball https://t.co/WKzwolSZ82

And finally, third time’s the charm for getting the correct name on the official roster!
Big news, you guys: The man we all knew as Big Cat Bryant is actually Big Kat Bryant. Change was made yesterday https://t.co/NKgYQpuIJf pic.twitter.com/rK2Lx76XQW
