Road trip number two comes our way tomorrow night, as Auburn meets Missouri at 6:30 CST on ESPNU from Faurot Field. Despite the departures of Sean White and Byron Cowart, it almost seems like it’s been a bit of a quiet week. Hopefully that means the team has been hunkered down, working hard, and getting things right as they head out of town for the second time this year.
We’ll have our staff predictions coming later, but we’ll begin today’s look around the internet with another one.

Speaking of intangibles, here’s one of the nuggets you only get by reaching deep into the history books...
When Auburn wins the 1st game, loses the 2nd game, and then wins the 3rd game, Auburn is 10-1 in the 4th game in the last 60 years.

I’d like to see what the rest of those seasons looked like, because while this is fun, it means absolutely nothing. Looking at meaningful tidbits, however...
Auburn RT Darius James (neck) went through a full practice today, Gus Malzahn said.

Having James back on the field can only help Auburn’s chances, as the offensive line will likely stay the same tomorrow night. Maybe the run game will have gelled a little more since last weekend, but if it comes down to it, we can always run the WildKam formation into the ground.
Chip Lindsey calls Kamryn Pettway's Wildcat package "The Moose." Which is pretty great.

If you want to recap everything that Gus Malzahn said on Tiger Talk last night, he did mention some things about the punting situation and keeping a hold on the ball like a normal team, both of which have been focused on this week in practice.

Onto the hot new hire on the Plains, Mickey Dean’s gotten off to a fast start in filling his staff. Welcome his second assistant coach hire in his young tenure.

And finally, I know it’s a week away, but start to do laundry and plan your wardrobe now. You actually have instructions next Saturday.
