As I’m sure many of you noticed, earlier this week saw the release of the nominees for the Academy Awards. The Oscars provide an opportunity for the movie industry to look back and celebrate the great movies they put out each year, and they (usually) do a decent job of encapsulating great performances. Well, with award season in mind, the team at College and Magnolia has decided to put together its own awards from this college football season. Welcome to the AUcademy Awards!

Here’s how this is going to work. We as a staff have compiled nominees for a handful of awards, and it is going to be up to y’all to vote on a winner. Voting will be open through Twitter and Facebook soon, so be ready to vote!
