4-Star Offensive Tackle Wanya Morris Down to Two

After striking out at offensive tackle in 2018, the Tigers are hoping to hit a home run at the position in the 2019 class. 4* OT Wanya Morris would be a grand slam. 247 Composite’s #40 overall rated prospect announced on Twitter this evening that he’s down to two schools: Auburn and Tennessee.

Morris has been a frequent visitor to campus over the years and has long been near the top of the coaching staff’s wishlist. The timing of this announcement, however, might not be in Auburn’s favor. Morris is fresh off a trip to Knoxville, his 2nd in two months, and isn’t completely sure if he will make anymore visits before his decision. The Tigers will no doubt work hard to get him on campus again as soon as possible. This would be a huge early win for this coaching staff if they could snag the elite tackle prospect.
