The Colts traded with the Jets to move up to No. 37 for the pick, getting back-to-back picks early in the second round. Smith joins Notre Dame’s Quenton Nelson and South Carolina State’s Darius Leonard as Colts’ draft picks so far this year.
Braden has been an anchor on the offensive line for Auburn over the last three years. With his size and strength, he should be able to slide in nicely as a guard right away.

Braden Smith is one of the best I’ve coached. The @Colts are going to love him. Congrats Braden! #AUNextLevel | #WarEagle | #NFLDraft
