This morning, the SEC released the matchups for the SEC Basketball Schedule and it’s safe to say that Auburn’s home slate is LOADED.
The entire SEC matchups are listed below.
The SEC just released the basketball matchups and oh my goodness I couldn’t be any more excited to see Florida, Tennessee AND Kentucky are all coming to Auburn Arena next year!!! Plus, we get to make the return trip to Lexington. pic.twitter.com/aUXIqV6dST

Auburn will play 18 SEC games including the usual home and homes with Alabama, Georgia, and Ole Miss. In addition, Auburn will play home and homes with Kentucky and Mississippi State this season. Auburn will play only home games against Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Tennessee. Meanwhile, Auburn will only play road games at LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
Getting a home and home with Kentucky is HUGE considering the two schools are considered 2 of the top 3 teams going into next year. The other, Tennessee, comes to Auburn so the best of the SEC will have to come through Auburn Arena next year. Mississippi State and Florida are also expected to be Top 20 teams, while Missouri and Arkansas will also have solid years as well. In my opinion, this home slate couldn’t be much better for Auburn fans.
Dates and times for these games will be released at a later date, likely in August.
