We’re through one full week of NFL Football, and several Auburn guys had good, solid starts to the season. Who were they and what did they do? Read below.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH
PHILADELPHIA 18, ATLANTA 12
Falcons - Josh Harris (LS) - made good snaps on both Falcon field goals (21 and 52 yards), and the only extra point attempt of the night.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH
CINCINNATI 34, INDIANAPOLIS 23
Bengals - CJ Uzomah (TE) - caught one pass for four yards.
Colts - Braden Smith (OG) - Smith technically started for the Colts as he reported as tackle-eligible on the first play of the game for Indy, overall he played four snaps in the loss.
MINNESOTA 24, SAN FRANCISCO 16
Vikings - Daniel Carlson (K) - Carlson scored the Vikings’ first points of the season on a 48-yd field goal, then made all three of his extra points after that.
NEW ENGLAND 27, HOUSTON 20
Texans - Angelo Blackson (DT) - Blackson played just seven snaps for the Texans but recorded two tackles in his limited time on the field.
Patriots - Jonathan Jones (CB) - Jones started at corner and recorded two tackles for the Patriots.
TAMPA 48, NEW ORLEANS 40
Buccaneers - Peyton Barber (RB) - Barber ran for 69 yards to lead the Bucs in rushing in a huge offensive day, while Carlton Davis (CB) got thrown into the fire against Drew Brees and company, recording three tackles in the process.
JACKSONVILLE 20, NEW YORK GIANTS 16
Jaguars - Corey Grant (RB) - Grant recorded one carry for three yards in the Jags’ season-opening win.
KANSAS CITY 38, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS 28
Chiefs - Dee Ford (LB) - Ford made his presence known in the season-opener with four tackles and a sack on Phillip Rivers, leading to free McDonald’s all around KC.

WASHINGTON 24, ARIZONA 6
Cardinals - Josh Bynes (LB) - finished with eight tackles for the Cards while Rudy Ford (DB) had three stops in the loss to the Redskins.
CAROLINA 16, DALLAS 8
Panthers - Cam Newton (QB) - threw for 161 yards on 17-26 passing, while running for 58 yards (led the team) and scoring the game’s first touchdown.

GREEN BAY 24, CHICAGO 23
Bears - Cody Parkey (K) - hit all three of his field goal attempts (26, 33, 32 yards) and both extra points.
Packers - Montravius Adams (DT) and Jermaine Whitehead (S) each had one tackle in the comeback win.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH
NEW YORK JETS 48, DETROIT LIONS 17
Lions - Kerryon Johnson (RB) - KJ ran five times for 17 yards and caught three passes for 20 yards in the huge loss to the Jets.
