How’d we do this week?

Two weeks in the NFL have passed, so let’s see what former Auburn greats did in the professional ranks!

To be honest, the mood in the league mirrored our mood from Saturday in many ways, including the unfortunate Sunday that Daniel Carlson had to endure. He’ll land on his feet and make the Vikings regret their decision down the road.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH

BENGALS 34, RAVENS 23

Bengals - Carl Lawson (DE) had two tackles and CJ Uzomah (TE) caught three passes for 45 yards in the win.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH

ATLANTA 31, CAROLINA 24

Falcons - Josh Harris (LS) successfully snapped on four extra points and a 44-yd field goal in the win.

Panthers - Cam Newton (QB) had a great game despite the loss, completing 32-45 passes for 335 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception (off a tipped ball). He also ran five times for 42 yards for Carolina.

INDIANAPOLIS 21, WASHINGTON 9

Colts - Braden Smith (OG), Robinson Therezie (S)

Redskins - Casey Dunn (C), Cassanova McKinzy (LB), Josh Holsey (CB)

KANSAS CITY 42, PITTSBURGH 37

Chiefs - Dee Ford (LB) finished the game with two tackles as KC beat the Steelers.

TAMPA BAY 27, PHILADELPHIA 21

Buccaneers - Peyton Barber (RB) carried 16 times for only 22 yards and caught one pass for seven yards in the win, while Carlton Davis (CB) recorded six tackles and a fumble recovery for the defense.

TENNESSEE 20, HOUSTON 17

Texans - Angelo Blackson (DT) had two tackles in the loss.

GREEN BAY 29, MINNESOTA 29

Packers - Jermaine Whitehead (S) recorded two tackles in the tie.

Vikings - Daniel Carlson (K) went 0-3 on field goals, including two game-winning attempts in overtime, and was waived by the team after the game. It sucks.

SAN FRANCISCO 30, DETROIT 27

Lions - Kerryon Johnson (RB) carried the ball eight times for 43 yards and caught five passes for 23 yards in the slim defeat.

LOS ANGELES RAMS 34, ARIZONA 0

Cardinals - Josh Bynes (LB) had four tackles in the loss.

JACKSONVILLE 31, NEW ENGLAND 20

Jaguars - Corey Grant (RB) ran the ball four times for 13 yards, but caught six passes for 56 yards in the Jags’ first win over the Patriots.

Patriots - Jonathan Jones (CB) made two tackles in the loss.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH

CHICAGO 24, SEATTLE 17

Bears - Cody Parkey (K) was 3-3 on extra points and 1-1 on field goal attempts in the Bears’ win last night.
