I think the award for least talked about commit this season goes to 3* DL Daniel Foster-Allen. The St. Paul’s standout has been committed to Auburn longer than any other commit sans Kobe Hudson. To my knowledge, he’s not visited any other campuses besides Auburn. After making his pledge in early February following Junior Day, he’s been all AU. Today he made things official.
Welcome to the #AuburnFamily @DFA_90!

Very quietly, Foster-Allen put together a strong senior campaign in 2019. He did a little of everything for his squad playing a 3 tech one snap only to stand up on the edge the next.
For the Mobile native it’s all about building the strength to play at the next level. He’s got the frame to be an interior player but currently weighs south of 270. He will need some time with Ryan Russell before he’s ready to eat blocks in the interior. But this is a kid that Garner targeted early and took his pledge when he was ready. I think AU feels they got a steal in Foster-Allen. Now it’s about developing and turning him into another force up front for the best defensive line in the country.
War Eagle Daniel!
