Wright’s recruitment took off after a strong spring. He reeled in offers from Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia Tech over the summer with the Vols and Tigers battling for his pledge. Following a visit for the War Eagle Picnic, 3* OL Jeremiah Wright had seen enough to end his recruitment. He committed to the Tigers and today he signs.

There was some buzz late that Georgia Tech was taking a run at Wright. But after his official visit two weekends ago that seemed to lock things down for the Tigers.
First thing that jumps out about Wright is his sheer size. Listed at 6’5” 340 lbs, he’s a big dude. But he doesn’t look clunky or slow out there despite his size. He’s extremely powerful though at times probably relies a bit too much on just being purely bigger than his opponents. What will be interesting to see is where he ends up playing for Auburn. Wright will likely start out at guard but could have the length to play tackle or could even flip to defense if needed. He’s a prospect that will need some time to shed the bad weight and refine his technique but he’s got a bright future ahead of him given his versatility.
War Eagle Jeremiah!
