The Transfer Portal comes for every program. This afternoon, former 4* LB Michael Harris became the first Auburn entrant this offseason.

I was high on Harris coming out of high school. The former #15 ranked LB in the 2018 class chose Auburn over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and plenty others. Harris saw limited action in his brief Auburn career recording 5 tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in 4 games.
It’s a blow to future depth at the linebacker position as Harris looked like a likely candidate to replace KJ Britt in 2021. Could this open the door for someone like 4* LB Desmond Tisdol to find a spot in this 2020 class? That remains to be seen as does where Harris eventually lands. I suspect he will find his way onto another Power 5 roster in short time.
Best of luck Michael.
