It’s baseball season, y’all! That means that Son of Crow will be blaring John Fogerty’s “Centerfield” over the protestations of Ryan Sterritt and AU Chief while they try to dissect the weekend’s series win over Georgia Southern. We also may get to hear about what’s happening with the Auburn basketball team that broke a very long streak in Nashville, and beat Vanderbilt at Memorial Gym for the first time in 19 years. Bruce Pearl brought out his Indiana Jones leather jacket in turning into an Auburn “obtainer of rare antiquities”.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that this episode of Orange and True is brought to you cordially by the fine folks over at Champ’s Chicken and Beeline Foods on Opelika Road. Listen. It’s (Orange and) True that they’ve got the best tenders in town, the sauciest sauces, and a smattering of sides and bevvies for your lunchtime (or any time) cravings.
