Safe to say it’s gonna be a fun weekend in Auburn!

It’s been a big week for Auburn Basketball. Practice officially started earlier this week, both Bryce Brown and Malik Dunbar signed professional contracts, and it was announced that last year’s Final Four team will be honored this weekend at the football game. But wait, there’s more!

2 of the best guards available in the Class of 2020 will be on Auburn’s campus this weekend for official visits, SG Jalen Green and PG Sharife Cooper.

Cooper has been Auburn’s top target for several years now and have been the heavy favorite in Cooper’s recruiting for some time now. While Cooper has been to Auburn several times, Green will be in Auburn for the first time this weekend.

Green is the 3rd ranked player in the 2020 Class and the top rated Shooting Guard. He is reportedly down to Auburn, Oregon, and Memphis with both UCLA and USC still in the mix as well. He visited the Ducks 2 weeks ago and will visit Memphis next weekend. He has stated he will make his decision on Christmas Day.

Cooper and Green in the backcourt for the 2020-2021 season would be a scary combination of outstanding guards for Auburn if it were to come to fruition.

Justin Powell remains Auburn’s only committed player to the 2020 Class but hopefully soon, more will join the class that looks to become one of the best in Auburn Basketball history!
